This quest is members-only.
Start Point: Speak to Lazim, south of the Bandit Camp
Skill Requirements: Level 50 Crafting, 45 Firemaking, 43 Prayer, 39 Magic
Items Needed: Chisel, Tinderbox, Maple Log, Candle, Coal, a Normal Log, an Oak Log, a Willow Log, Cake, Bucket, Runes for: Crumble Undead, Fire Bolt, & Air Bolt; Desert Survival Equipment recommended
To begin this quest, speak to Lazim, south of the Bandit Camp in the Al Kharid Desert. Note that you may use Ali's magic carpet to get to Lazim quickly by flying to the Bedabin Camp. You'll have to walk around the ridge towards the quarry to find Lazim.
Lazim wishes to make a statue, and requires that you mine 32 kilograms of sandstone, with blocks that weigh 1kg, 2kg, 5kg, and 10kg, in the rock quarry nearby. Note that there is a rock within the quarry with a pickaxe embedded within it - take it if you need a pickaxe.
Prospect the rocks before you mine from them. The darker ones are sandstone whilst the lighter ones are granite, though you may find other random ores. Mine sandstone (note that you can give him parts of it at a time, not necessarily all a once). Present 32kg total of sandstone to him and he'll tell you to chisel a 32kg base. Do so by using a chisel with the base he gives you.
'Use' the base on the ground next to Lazim and speak to him again. He wants 20 more kg of sandstone. Mine it and present it to him. Chisel the 20kg block he gives you into a statue body and place it on the statue. Speak to him.
He'll tell you to keep chiseling at the statue. Do so. He then tells you to mine some Granite, and chisel a head. You choose which head to make - his head, a god's head (Zamorak or Icthlarin), or a camel's head (the other two are disallowed). You need a 5kg piece of granite to chisel a head. Once you've done so place it on the statue.
The statue will disappear and you'll fall into a pit. Speak to Lazim. This is a puzzle temple, and you must ascend to the top floor of the underground temple. The doors here are opened by placing things into them, such as limbs or symbols.
Use your chisel on the fallen statue and remove all the limbs. Take the nearby M sigil, on the pedestal near Lazim. Note that the ladder in this room (the east room) allows you to exit the temple, as well as the other ladders in the outlying rooms on this floor. Each limb door you open yields a cutscene, revealing a storyline about Enakhra tricking her Camel Mage rival.
- First, head SOUTH. Fit the Right Leg into the door and continue forward. You'll be in the SOUTH room. Take the R Sigil on the pedestal.
- Head WEST. Fit the Left Arm into the door and continue forward. Continue into the WEST room and pick up the K Sigil on the pedestal.
- Head NORTH. Fit the Left Leg into the door. Pick up the Z Sigil in the NORTH room. Continue EAST and fit the Right Arm into the door. You should be back with Lazim.
Continue to the center room and unlock every door with your four letter sigils (each door has a letter on it that matches a sigil). Proceed up the ladder. You should now be on the second floor. The ladder up to the north is blocked by a magic wall - you'll need to address the four obstacles in this floor.
West Room: There is a frozen fountain here. Use the spell 'Fire Bolt' to burn off the ice.
Northwest Room: There is a frozen, wounded, and hungry person here (the last of the knights from one of the flashbacks). Feed him a Cake.
Northeast Room: There is a blocked up furnace here. Use 'Wind Bolt' to blow out the dust.
East Room: There are unlit braziers here. Each had a different type of fire burning in them, which you must replace correctly, as shown in the table below.
Brazier | What To Use With Brazier |
Northwest Brazier | Maple Logs |
North Brazier | Candle |
Northeast Brazier | Coal |
Southwest Brazier | Normal Logs |
South Brazier | Oak Logs |
Southeast Brazier | Willow Logs |
After you've solved all 4 rooms, head back to Lazim on the first floor. Ask for the statue head and he'll give it to you. However, the head as it is won't fit into the pedestal on the second floor. Speak to Lazim and he'll tell you to make a mould of the pedestal recess.
Head outside and mine a piece of clay and a 5kg piece of granite. Head back to the second floor of the temple and get water out of the fountain using your bucket. Mix with the hard clay to get soft clay and use the soft clay on the pedestal.
Chisel your piece of granite into another stone head and use it on the pedestal. Move through the magic portal after speaking to Lazim.
Up the ladder you'll encounter a Boneguard blocking your path. Cast Crumble Undead on it.
Before you climb over the pile of bones, you can take the five or so Big Bones that are left behind. When you are ready climb over the bones and descend the ladder. Turn on the Protect From Melee Prayer and talk to the next Boneguard. He'll request that you finish building his wall, so he can trap Enakhra and be free of her magic.
Do so by taking 5kg blocks of stone from the nearby pile and placing them on the wall, using a chisel on the wall to even it out after each placing. You'll need to place 3 blocks to finish the wall.
Speak to the Boneguard, and you'll see a cutscene - apparently another build up in the God Wars storyline, with Enakhra being a follower of Zamorak and the Camel Guy a follower of Zaros. After that, quest complete!
Congratulations! Quest complete!

The Camulet can teleport you back to the temple at any time and can be recharged by applying camel dung to it, as well as letting you speak to camels. Use hot sauce on a camel (obtainable in Pollniveach) to obtain camel dung.
Camel Mask
Get another piece of soft clay and use it on the second floor pedestal to get yourself a nontradable camel mask.
