The rescources are coal, maple, herbs and swordfish/tuna, you may divide this work how you please by talking to the advisor. They are paid from money in the coffers; each day, one-tenth of the money in the coffers is distributed to them, you may withdraw or deposit money from the coffer by talking to the advisor.
A maximum of 50k is paid to your subjects and the coffers can store up to 5 million gp, meaning that you need 500K minimum in your coffer everyday, to get the maximum of 50k that is paid to your subjects.
Another thing which affects the amounts of rescoures collected is your approval rating. The more your subjects love you. The more they will be motivated to work hard. Get 100% Approval Rating and they'll bring you more raw materials, your approval rating will decline every 24-hour period by a few percent.
