As A First Resort Quest

This is a members-only quest.
Start Point: Talk to Chief Tess in the center of Oo'Glog, south of Gu'tanoth
Quest Requirements: Must have completed the Zogre Flesh Eaters Quest
Skill Requirements: Level 48 Hunter, Level 51 Firemaking, Level 58 Woodcutting
Items Needed: 8 Larupia Furs (any kind), 4 spears of any kind, 10 Eucalyptus Logs, 8 Achey Logs, 8 stripy feathers, 4 wolf bones, 2 Chompy Birds, 1 box trap, 1 bird trap, knife, axe, tinderbox
To start this quest, go to Oo'glog and talk to the Chief. He will tell you he has problems understanding what a certain lady wants.

Go to the bank and discuss matters of life with Balnea.

She will talk about stuff - sorry, I didn't really read anything because I doubt it's interesting - and ask you to help Chargurr, the ogress cook, prepare catering facilities.
Exciting encounter with an ally
Long story short: Chargurr wants you to light her fire. If you haven't already, get 10 Eucalyptus logs and 8 Achey logs from the trees in the forest west of the spa.
Hot woodcutting action
Put the logs on the fire and whatnot. Because that *COUGH* forgot to mention she needed spears, give her 4 spears of any kind.
HAVE TO LIGHT A BONFIRE
Quest over?! Hell no.
The cook will order you to get her some chompies, to which you will clearly agree because you never stand up for yourself.

Set the place on fire and go talk to Balnea.
FIRE YES FIRE
Balnea will tell you that your work doesn't cut it just yet - go talk to Snurgh and help her out.

Talking to Snurgh reveals you will need to bring her 8 stripy feathers. Whoopsie! Hope you brought these! Give them to Snurgh. Go talk to Balnea again, then go to the saloon and talk to Kringk. Watch out for shootouts starring Clint Eastwood.
Get 4 wolf bones and 8 Larupia Furs (if you haven't got these already).

When you have gathered these supplies, talk to Kringk and he will say he is utterly pleased with you and that everything is in place.
Quest complete? I think not.
Talk to Balnea again, and she will send you on your way to see Seegud regarding the insects swarming around the Oo'glog pools! Oh boy!
The tale continues.
Time for your magnum opus: gather Eucalyptus logs, tansymum, fever grass, primweed, lavendar and stinkbloom. Check what kind of rocks there are next to the pool (examine) and put the respectful contents in the fire pit. Your quest diary will display what matches which rocks.
However! The meddling local kids have moved rocks because they're so adorable, and you (yes you) have to fix everything as usual! Now, because this is random, you will have to figure this out without my guidance; good luck and try not to die. First look at the rock you will find at every fire, that will be eucalyptus logs. Build up and test to get all combinations with the fires right. After filling a firepit, light it on fire with your tinderbox and see if the bugs go away or if your combination was wrong. Oh dear! Make sure that whenever you're sure of something, you write it down. It's not that hard, just takes a lot of time if you have as little luck as I did. Pretty sure you've cleared all the insects like yours truly had at this very time? Talk to Seegud again! Talked to Seegud again? Talk to Balnea again!
Quest complete? Think again!
Balnea informs you that some creatures are running around freely just minding their own business! Because this is totally against your principles, you have to lock them up in boxes, or kill them.
- Platypodes like lavender and hate fever grass
- Diseased Kebbits like fever grass and hate tansymum
- Wimpy birds like tansymum and hate lavender.
To lure them, light the plants on fire and run around like a moron to grab their attention and lure them into the traps. When you've caught these fellas, set the platypodes free at the eastern part of the city (in the wheat).
Hot platypode releasing action. As a bonus, they will give you a casket or oyster! Neat!
Go talk to Balnea in the bank again to hopefully finish the quest.
