Pirate's Treasure Quest

Start Point: Talk to Redbeard Frank in Port Sarim
Requirements: Spade (you can get this in Falador, in the house behind the furnace), White Apron, 90 gp
Combat: Level 4 Gardener

To start this quest, talk to Redbeard Frank, located near the pub in Port Sarim. Arr matey, he'll say.

ARR.

Tell him you want to find some treasure. He tells you he can offer you some treasure information if you can get him some Karamja Rum. Easy, right?

At this point head to Karamja by paying 30 gp to the guys in blue further down the docks. When you arrive Go into the pub and buy a Karamjan Rum for 30 gp.

Note: You cannot board the ship or teleport from Karamja with the rum, or else you will lose it. You must use the following method.

So you have the rum - the problem is you cannot get it off the island the usual ways. Now, go talk to Luthas, the owner of the banana plantation. He is the chap in the shack near all the banana trees with the monkey on his back.

Ask to work for him. He will hire you and instruct you to fill the crate outside the shack with bananas. Collect 10 bananas from the trees.

Put them in the crate. When you put the last one in, use your rum with the crate to put it inside.

Now, head back to Port Sarim, and go inside the Food Shop. Try to go in back room and Wydin will stop you. Ask him for a job while wearing your white apron. He'll say yes. Now, go back and search the crate with the banana atop it for the rum.

Get it and go give it to Redbeard Frank.

Redbeard will give you a key and tell you the location of the chest to which the key opens. Head over to the Blue Moon Inn at Varrock, and go upstairs. Use your key with the chest and you'll get a pirate message.

The message reads, "Visit the city of the White Knights. In the park, Saradomin points to the X which marks the spot." Thus, head to the park in Falador.

Now, this is where your spade will come in handy. Head over to the statue of Saradomin. Stand in front of it. Walk straight west until you get to a spot with no flowers at all (in front of the sunflowers, right where those rocks are). Dig here.

The Gardener will attack you for some freaking reason. He puts up a good fight but he is relatively easy to defeat, being only level four. Kill him and dig again.

Congratulations! Quest complete!

Reward: 2 Quest Points & Treasure Chest (contains 450 gp, an Emerald, and a gold ring)
