Goblin Diplomacy Quest

Start Point: Talk to one of the Generals in the Goblin Village
Requirements: 3 Goblin Mail (two can be any color, the last one must be brown, dropped by goblins outside of the Goblin Village), Blue Dye, Orange Dye, about 50 gp

Quest Map

To start this quest visit Goblin Village and speak to one of the Generals.

They will start arguing over which armour color is better. Ask them if they want you to pick a color for them, and they will tell you that they want orange armor. To make orange armor you will need some dye. Speak to Aggie the witch in Dranor Village to get some.

Since she cannot make orange, you will need to mix two of her dyes together. You will need to mix red dye and yellow dye. Gather up 3 red berries and 2 onions and bring them to Aggie so she can make them into dye. Each dye costs 5gp plus the ingredients. When you have the two dyes, use the red dye with yellow dye to get orange dye. Next use orange dye with goblin armor and you’ve got orange goblin armor!

Go back and vist with one of the generals and use the orange armour with one of them. They will get their servant to change into it and make a decision on the new color.

They do not like the orange and decide they want blue armor. To get blue dye you need two woad leaves. These can be bought from Wyson the Gardener in Falador Park. When he asks you how much you will offer for a leaf, offer 20 gp and he will give you two.

Take the woad leaves to Aggie with 5 gp, get the blue dye, and use it on the goblin mail to get blue goblin armor. Visit the generals again and they will tell you that they do not like it blue and now they’ve gone back to liking the original brown armor. Brown Goblin Mail is dropped by any goblin outside of the Goblin Village - you can head east, past the Barbarian Village, where a goblin or two can usually be found, right by the bridge. Use this mail on a general to complete the quest.
