This guild is for members only.

Warriors' Guild
Location: Northwest of Burthorpe

Entry Requirements:
Skill Requirements: Combined 130 Attack and Strength
Equipment Wielding Requirements: None
Other Requirements: None

The Warrior's Guild, a rather interesting guild, which is situated northwest of Burthorpe, is home to a various amount of experience, items, shops and unique training features. There is even a bank!

Content Image

You can enter the guild with a combined Attack & Strength level of 130. For example, if you had 60 Attack and 70 Strength, you could enter the guild (60+70=130). However, if you only had 60 Attack and 60 Strength, you could not enter (60+60=120).

Features

The features of this guild are listed below.

Warriors' Guild Tokens

The first thing that one should make note of is that everything you do in the Warrior's Guild - fight animated armour, defend yourself and hit dummies - earns you Warriors' Guild Tokens. Ten of these are good for use upstairs in the Cyclops Room per minute, which means that if you had 500 tokens you could stay up there for 50 minutes. You'll learn more about the Cyclops Room later on.

Animated Armour Room

Content Image

For lack of a better name, this is the Animated Armour Room, located on the Ground Floor. Here, you may place any sets (Head to Toe excluding weapon/shield) of any basic metal armour (meaning from Bronze to Rune) to train on. To make your armour live, bring a full helm, platebody, and platelegs and use either piece with the magic animator. The stronger the armour is, the more tokens one will recieve from defeating it. However, there comes a risk: If the armour breaks or you die, you will lose that piece of armour. Therefore, I can only reccomend that you use armour that you can replace. The stronger the armour, the less likely it is to break during combat.

Dummy Room

In this room on the Ground Floor you will find several multi-coloured dummies wearing and wielding different items. Depending on which dummy appears, that is the style of attack you must use to fight it.

You must choose quickly and attack the dummy with the correct attack style, or you will be stunned. You will need a variety of weapons to be able to choose the correct style each time - bringing a simple battle axe and long sword should do the trick. For each dummy you correctly hit, you will be awarded 15 Attack EXP, as well as Warriors' Guild tokens.

Shot Put

Also on the second floor is the Shot Put Room. In this game, you will have to use you strength and run energy to see how far you can throw a shot, to earn Warriors Guild Tokens and Strength experience. You can throw the shot in a variety of ways - a standing throw, a jump throw, and a spin throw - but becareful, because you could fumble it and drop it on your foot! If you are having trouble with shot throwing, you can get a pestle and mortar and use them with some ashes. Doing so will create ground ashes which can help you with your shot throwing by putting some on your hands.

Catapult Room

On the second floor in the Catapult Room, you can train your defense by wielding an impressively large 2-handed shield to defend yourself from falling boulders! (Well, they're not really "falling"; they're hurled at you more or less at a rather impressive velocity by a dwarf with a large rock hurling device.)

Content Image

To begin, simply talk to the dwarf, who will hand you the special 2-handed shield, which can only be equipped in this part of the Warriors Guild. When it's equipped, quickly look at whatever is coming at you, and choose the right defence style. Each successful defending from the rocks will earn you 10 Defence EXP and some tokens.

Jimmy

The 'Jimmy' game, located on the second floor next to the Shot Put, is a game of balance. The room the game is in is actually the storeroom, which Jimmy is supposed to be guarding - but he decided to have a few drinks instead, and now believes he's the strongest there is, and can balance kegs on his head better than anyone.

Content Image

To begin this game, pick up a keg and balance it on your head. Then, go to another keg, and balance that one on your head as well. Keep doing this until they fall. The longer and more kegs you hold, the more tokens you will earn.

Cyclops Training Area

Content Image

On the third floor of the Warriors Guild lies the Cyclops Area. As mentioned earlier, you can enter for as long as you have tokens. This is where everyone that stops into the Warriors' Guild wants to visit.

These Cyclopses not only offer good training and interesting mid-level drops, but they also drop the most coveted object to this guild: the Defender. Basically, it is an off-hand dagger that acts as a parrying blade, and also adds some rather nice strength bonuses as well, equalling the Tok-Ket-Xil in strength bonus.
