Location: Second Floor of the Grand Tree, Gnome Stronghold

Requirements: 29 Cooking (42 recommended to make your own food)

In the Gnome Restaurant Mini-Game, you will basically make and deliver gnome foods across Runescape to various gnomes. To start the deliveries for your new employer, you will need to learn how to make the food yourself! Training is also required and you may have to do dishes for Aluft Gianne Sr.

The Training

If you are already trained in Gnome Cooking (i.e. completed Aluft Gianne Sr. and Blurberry's training), you can proceed right to The Delivery Section.

If you haven't, you must speak to Aluft Gianne Sr. to start. He will have you make dishes and taste them afterwards. Both Blurberry and Aluft Sr. will give all the ingrediants required to make the dishes they ask for. You simply need to make them and talk to them again.

For more specific information on how to make gnome food and cocktails, please see the Cooking Guide. Gnome Foods & Drinks are really easy to make; most of it is self explanatory. When you are making Gnome Cuisine, you just need to be careful and watch exactly what you're making and if you have the right food ready.

The Delivery

Speak to Gianne Jr. after you have complete your training, or just go straight to him if you didn't need to train. He will have you deliver food and drinks all over the land. There are two difficulties: Easy and Hard.

If you have chosen the Easy Difficulty setting, you will be given an order of Gnome Food and a recipent. You will have 5 minutes to make the order and find the recipent somewhere in the Grand Tree.

If you have chosen the Hard Difficulty setting, you will be alotted 10 minutes to make and deliver an order to a gnome outside of the Grand Tree - the gnome could be anywhere in RuneScape. (Various transportation techniques are recommended here; make use of the Gnome Glider and whatever teleports you can us. The Ring of Dueling can me a big help - it can teleport you to the Al Kharid Duel Arena, where you can run over to the Gnome Glider and glide back to the Grand Tree).

After you have chosen your difficulty, your order will be described. You will also be given a hint on where the recipient can be found.

Note: After you have been given your order, you can choose to reject it for personal reasons (i.e. Insufficient cooking level etc) by talking to Gianne Jr. again - however you will not be able to get a new 'hard' order (if you originally had a hard one) for 5 minutes.

After you get your description you will recieve an Aluft Aloft Box in your inventory, where you can check for the amount of time you have left. Once every minute, you will get a notice on how much time you have left. The Aluft Aloft box is also useful for checking and re-checking your order.

If you do not manage to finish your order in the alotted time, you will be able to get a new one. You can make items to deliver beforehand - however you must make the items yourself and you cannot buy them from the waiters.

Rewards

For successfully delivering an Easy order, you will recieve a few coins and 1 credit (see below).

For successfully delivering a Hard order, you will recieve instead 3 credits and an item. The table below shows the possible items you can get.

* - Mint Cakes restore 50% of your run energy.

** - Grand Seed Pods are seeds of the Grand Tree itself. You can either launch or squash a pod. If you destroy it, roots will swallow you up and bring you back to the Grand Tree, right next to the King. Your Farming level will temporarily go down 5 levels. If you launch the pod, a Gnome Glider will be signaled and will fly you back to the Gnome Glider on the Grand Tree. Launching the pod also gives 100 Farming experience.

Credits

For completing orders, you get credits. After you manage to get yourself 12 credits, you will get 1 reward token.

This can be used to remote-order 1 item from the restaurant for every 12 credits you get. You can 'activate' your token to summon a delivery gnome to bring you gnome food. Your token can have 10 orders max, and you can only have 1 token at a time. You may activate the token once, and then it is destroyed.

So, for example, you could activate a token with 9 'charges' (found by 'Checking' the token). A delivery gnome will shortly arrive with nine randomly selected gnome foods. Make sure you have enough inventory space!
