RuneWeb News Item Images

I am proud to announce that all 3901 RS2 item images are now on the server. That's right, we have a COMPLETE database of items. I am still tweaking the reader and displayer a bit, plus the item numbers, which has at the moment caused some guides to temporarily display wrong images. Do not worry, this is a known 'bug' if you will, and all guides will be updated by tomorrow. The database will be automatically updated every day around 10am CST (4pm GMT) to include any items that may have been created and distributed during that day. An interface for the item database will be up and running in the next week or so :) RS2 Item Image <-- awesome parrot

Taken from runescape.com: We just put another 3 game worlds online. This time there is one extra free world, and two extra members worlds. This gives a total 54 RuneScape worlds to choose from! The extra space should ensure there is enough room for everyone who wants to play this weekend (our busiest time of the week) without it getting overcrowded.
Runescape News Throne of Miscellania

New Quest added to Runescape today. Taken from runescape.com: One of the ships of Rellekka is setting sail for two of the former Fremennik colonies - the now independant island of Miscellania and its smaller sister island of Etceteria. These islands are said to have prospered in recent years and now have their own castles, a bank, a blacksmith and a healthy market trade in fish and vegetables. However, rumours have been coming back from Miscellania that all is not well. It is said that the king has been turned into a monster! An exceptional hero is required to investigate. Maybe in the end there might even be the opportunity for the right person to take the reins and try to rule over the land themselves. The road to power is not a straightforward one though, experience in wooing royality and negotiating peace would be an advantage. The residents of Miscellania Castle are widely regarded as some of the hardest workers ever seen... A well respected Monarch should have no problems in convincing his subjects to collect raw materials for "royal inspection", though gaining and maintaining that respect could prove another challenge in itself. For the Throne of Miscellania quest you will need to have completed the Hero's Quest and The Fremennik Trials; it would be an advantage to have at least one of the following skills: Level 30 Mining, Level 35 Fishing, Level 35 Herblore Level 45 Woodcutting. To start, take the ship from Rellekka to Miscellania and speak to King Vargas. PS: For those of our players who like to express themselves, there is also a new emote to enjoy called "blow kiss". We hope you like it. [Edit]: Catatifish Image Test: RS2 Item Image

Welcome to the Beta Phase of RuneWeb. There will be bugs, and lots hasn't been added yet. Use the appropriate boards on the RN forums to post bugs and suggestions. Hope you like what you're seeing so far. Huge thanks to the people who've already submitted guides and other things, to Catatifish and SupaPhat for making it possible so quickly, and Splatman for paying for it. <3
Runescape News Amsterdam servers online!

Taken from runescape.com: We've just put another six game worlds online. Two of these are additional ones at abovenet, and there are four at a new location - Amsterdam. The new worlds in Amsterdam should have good links to most of Europe, they certainly seem to work well from here in England. So hopefully lots of people will find them useful.
