Skills Needed: Able to not die to lvl 93 Giants
Reward: 13750 exp in Strength and Attack, 1 Quest Point, 2 Gold Bars, 40 Mithseeds

To begin this quest, talk to Almera, at her home at the head of the Baxtorian Falls.

She'll explain that her son, Hudon, is investigating the foot of the Falls and she fears for her son's safety, as Hudon cannot swim. Exit to the back and board the raft.

Image

You'll crash onto a small mud island. Hudon is on the shore, and refuses to leave, saying that you're out for his treasure. There's nothing you can do, so try to swim to the next island. You will be washed down the river.

You'll land near the house of Hadley, the local tourist guide. Speak to him, and he'll tell you the tale of Baxtorian, the heroic elf king who wasted away after his wife, Glarial, was captured by the enemy. He is apparently entombed under the waterfall, and only Glarial could enter.

Go upstairs and search the various bookcases to find the 'Book on Baxtorian'. Reading it will tell you that Glarial's Pebble, a key to her tomb, was lost to a gnome family at the Tree Gnome Village. It will specifically tell you to contact Golrie in the Tree Gnome Village.

Image

Head to the Tree Gnome Village. Golrie is nowhere to be found, but you will see a dungeon marker on the minimap. Enter the dungeon and head east into a room full of crates. Search the crate in the picture for a key.

Image

At the west side of the dungeon, you'll find Golrie locked in a room by himself. Use the key on the door to enter, and speak with him to get Glarial's pebble.

Image

You'll want to go to Glarial's tomb next. Her tomb is located east of Hadley's. Bank all your combat equipment, as no 'non-peaceful' items are allowed in her tomb. Enter the tomb.

Image

Run past the enemies to search the open chest. Grab Glarial's amulet in the west room, then run to the south room.

Search the tomb for Glarial's ashes, and run out. Now, you'll need to find Baxtorian's Tomb.

This time, instead of being washed down the river, you'll make it to that next rock. Make sure you have your rope and runes with you, and ride the raft again. Use your rope on the rock across the way to swim across.

Use the rope on the tree on that small island to land on the ledge, entrance to Baxtorian's tomb. Make sure you have Glarial's amulet, and enter.

Baxtorian's home is infested with monsters. First, enter the eastern room and search this crate for a key.

Image

Head to the western room, and you'll find a locked door. Open it with your key and go through. You'll find a cup floating in midair, for no real good reason. Now, remember the book? It said that Baxtorian was master of air, earth, and water. So use each on the six pillars in the room.

Image

Use Glarial's Amulet on the Statue of Glarial. When the floor is raised, use your urn of ashes on the Chalice to get Baxtorian's treasure.

Image

The seeds in the mithril case will grow flowers when you plant them. These flowers can then be picked and wielded as horrible, horrible weapons, but good for looks. These 40 will be the only ones you get until you complete the Legends Guild Quest.
