Start Point: Speak to Larrissa at the Lighthouse North of Barbarian Outpost
Requirements: Must have completed the Bar-Crawl Mini-Quest, 35 Agility, Level 13+ Magic will give you an advantage, Ability to defeat 2 strong level 100 enemies
Items Required: Hammer, Molten glass , 60 Steel Nails, 2 Planks(can be obtained at Barbarian Outpost), Swamp Tar, Tinderbox, 1 Air, 1 Fire, 1 Water and 1 Earth rune, 1 Sword (the sword used cannot be retreived) and 1 Arrow.

You will also have to fight a level 100 monster that you may have to fight in a variety of combat styles; bringing a balance of melee, ranged, and mage gear (bring runes for the highest of each elemental spell you can). High level food is also highly recommended.

North of Barbarian Outpost (grab 2 Planks there first), There are Basalt rocks, Jump across them to get to the lighthouse.

Talk to Larrissa, She will inform you her boyfriend is missing, the lighthouse light is broken, that the bridge needs to be repaired and to get the lighthouse key off her cousin Gunnjorn.

Head East until you come across the broken Bridge. Use planks on the bridge to fix the west side, then jump across the bridge and use the planks on the bridge again to fix the east side. The Bridge will now be fixed, you can now cross it.

Head West and South across the Basalt rocks again to get back to Barbarian Outpost.

Go inside the Barbarian Outpost course and talk to Gunnjorn. He will give you the lighthouse key.

Head back to the lighthouse and speak to Larrissa again, afterwards go inside.

Talk to her when you enter the lighthouse, she will tell you to fix the light.
There's 3 books on the 2nd floor, Search the bookcase and take them(The Lighthouse Manual, ancient Diary, and Jossiks' Journal), and read them.

Go up to the top floor and use the swamp tar on the lighting mechanism, then use the tinderbox on the lighting mechanism, and finally use the glass on the lighting mechanism.

Head down to the bottom floor, and go down the iron ladder. Study the strange wall then use your sword (Steel Shortsword or lower recommended - You can't get it back), arrow, 1 air rune, 1 fire rune, 1 water rune and 1 earth rune on it.

WARNING BEFORE CONTINUING: The first monster is easy, but the second one takes some strategy. You can only do certain attacks in certain forms. The Dagannoth Mother has 6 forms, represented by colors, you can only do damage to it if you use the correct attacks on the correct form. Do not bother with protective magic; for what protection prayer you use, the Dagannoth Mother will simply switch to a different combat style.

Orange: Melee Combat
Green: Ranged Combat
White: Wind Magic
Blue: Water Magic
Brown: Earth Magic
Red: Fire Magic
(If you use magic, use the highest spell you can.)

Open the strange wall and climb down the iron ladder. Talk to Jossik, he'll be injured by the entrance. Once you're done speaking with him, You'll have to fight both of the Dagannoth Monsters consectutively. Remember to use the strategy above.

After you've killed the Dagannoth and it's mother, You'll have a rusty casket and have completed the Quest!

Rewards: 2 Quest Points, 4662 Ranged Experience, 4662 Strength Experience, 4662 Magic Experience and an incomplete Prayer Book.

After You've completed quest, go onto the second floor and talk to Jossik, you can choose which God's Prayer book you recieve.

Prayer Books: All books start off with +5 prayer bonus. You gather pages to complete the books from Treasure Trails, once you have collected all four pages, your book is complete and you can purchase one of the other books from Jossik for 5000 coins.
If you ever lose or drop your Prayer books, you can get them back of Jossik free of charge.

Zamorak's Unholy Book: Completed book allows you to preach in the name of Zamorak, Bless Unholy symbols(50 Prayer Required) and give +8 to all Attack Bonuses.
Saradomin's Holy Book: Completed book allows you to preach in the name of Saradomin, Bless Holy symbols(50 Prayer Required) and give +8 to all Defense Bonuses.
Guthix's Book of Balance: Completed book allows you to preach in the name of Guthix, Bless Holy symbols(50 Prayer Required) and give +4 to all Attack and Defense Bonuses.
