Start Point: Martin the Master Gardener in Draynor Village Square
Requirements: Completed Lost City and Nature Spirit Quests, ability to defeat a level 111 monster
Items Required: Dramen Staff, Secateurs, Ghostspeak Amulet, Teleport runes for Ardougne, Falador, Camelot, and Lumbridge recommended, along with an Ectophial and charged Glory Amulet
Go to Draynor Village Square and speak with Martin.
He tells you that he's been noticing decreased yields in his roses, and other farmers have been noticing their crops are more disease prone as well. He tells you to speak to other gardeners for help. You will have to talk to a number of farmers about they being a G.A.G. member.
Go North of Catherby to the farming patches and speak with Dantaera. She thinks the problems are because of a recent lack of rain.
Next, go North of Ardougne to the farming patches and speak with Kragen. He thinks that the problems with crops are coming from insects.
Now, go South of Falador and talk to Elstan. He thinks that it's all adventurers faults because they come along and plant their own stuff in his patches.
After that, go to the Hops patch Northeast of Lumbridge. Talk to Vasquen to find out he thinks it's about the seasons being mixed up.
Go to the patch West of Port Phasmatys (Ectophial recommended here) and talk to Lyra. She tells you that the answer is fairies. Go back and tell Martin what you've found out. He recommends talking to the fairies about it. Grab a Dramen staff and head down to Zanaris, the Lost City in Lumbridge Swamp.
You'll find all the fairies riled up, bustling about to do their weather duties, just as Lyra said. Head South from the entrance of Zanaris and talk to Slim Louie.
This makes the Fairy Godfather appear right next to him, now talk to the Godfather. He tells you that the Fairy Queen is sick, and to talk to Fairy Nuff, the local healer. Fairy Nuff is just North of the bank, on the West side of Zanaris. Among other things, she gives you a list of symptoms, and tells you to go to Zandar Horfyre for help. He lives in the Dark Wizard tower near Falador, so head there.
When you arrive at the tower, head to the top floor and speak to Zandar.
He tells you that if you kill the Tanglefoot, the Queen's life force will be restored. He also tells you to speak to Malignus Mortifer (the Necromancer South of Falador) for information on the Tanglefoot, because he once fought one.
He tells you he wants an item for him to help you. The items he requires changes for each person, I personally had to get a skull from Draynor manor. Other items are a Ghostspeak Amulet, (obtained from the priest in Lumbridge Swamp) or a Cave Eel from Lumbridge Caves. If you got the skull, you need to take a spade to the North side of Draynor Manor and dig in front of the grave to get the Draynor Skull. Take it back to Malignus.
He tells you to hurt the Tanglefoot, you need a pair of enchanted secateurs. However, the items to enchant are different for each person. I needed to get a Slimey Eel (Lumbridge Swamp), a Mort Myre pear, a Mort Myre mushroom, (Mort Myre Swamp, use the blessed sickle) and a pair of secateurs. Other items are a Nature Talisman, Whiteberries, and a Cave eel, or King Worms, Jogre Bones, and a Snapdragon herb, or 2 Babydragon Boness, and a Mort Myre Stem.
Once you get the items required, head to the Nature Spirit from the Nature Spirit quest. If you have the required items and a Amulet of Ghostspeak, he'll enchant your Secateurs.
Now, head back to Zanaris, and go to the Cosmic Altar.
West of the altar, you should see "A gap through the wall." Squeeze through, and follow the path until you find the Tanglefoot. Attack and kill it; it's a simple battle, some decent armour and a couple of peices of food will do.
It drops the Queen's Secateurs, take them to the Fairy Godfather.
