Note about Diamonds of Azzanadra: Once you obtain any of them, bank them until you need them at The Conclusion. So be prepared to fight if you have any of the Diamonds of Azzanadra in your inventory.

---
Many times in the duration of this Quest, you'll need to go south through the Shantay Pass. Every time you do, you'll need a Shantay Pass, at least 1 Full Waterskin, and a knife.

How to prepare for the desert south of the Shantay Pass:
Trade with Shantay and Purchase a set of Desert Robes, 1-3 Full Waterskins and a knife.

How to survive in the desert: Using a knife on a Healthy Kharidian Cactus or cutting it will fill up your waterskins, which you will drink periodically to survive the thirst. Wearing Desert Robes allows you to need water less often. If you have no water, you will take massive amounts of damage and you will need to escape the desert as quick as possible.

The Beginning

Items Required for The Beginning: Coins(650), 12 Magic Logs, 6 Molten Glass, 6 Steel Bars, Regular Bones, Charcoal, 1 Blood Rune, 1 Ashes

Go through the Shantay Pass and head south-west until you reach the Bedabin Camp or take the Magic Carpet Transportation to the Camp.

Speak to the Archaeologist in the Bedabin Camp. He'll give you some etching from a stone tablet he uncovered somewhere and will ask you if you'll take it to Terry Balando at the Varrock Digsite.
Head to the Varrock Digsite, which is east of Varrock (Teleport recommended).

Speak to the Archaological Expert (located in the digsite building, not the actual site) and he'll seem overexcited and says he'll translate the etchings to the best of his abilities. You must speak to him again to actually get the translation. Read the translation.

Go back to the Shantay Pass and head through it and south-west towards the Bedabin Camp or take the Magic Carpet Transportation to the Camp.
(Note: To save time with this section withdraw 6 magic logs, 6 molten glass, and 6 steel bars now.)

Speak to the Archaelogist in the Bedabin Camp and he'll offer you to read the book, if you haven't read it, then read it. If you have, then don't accept and give him the book. He'll read it and then ask you to speak to him in a moment...

So continue to speak to him again, and he'll eventually offer you to be his treasure partner with a 50-50 split if you keep quiet about him really being a treasure hunter. He'll suggest you head south to the Bandit Camp, whilst he stays around the Bedabin Camp.

WARNING: Before you head south into the Bandit Camp, take off any identifiable items of Zamorak or Saradomin or all of the Bandits will attack you.

In the Bandit Camp, talk to the bartender and buy a beer for 650 coins. Then speak to him after you purchased a drink to get more info out of him, he'll mention the four diamonds of Azzanadra.

East of the bar, speak to Eblis and ask him about the Diamonds of Azzanadra. He's willing to help you find the Diamonds but requires a magic spell and some scyring glasses.

In whatever order you choose (you will have to make a trip or two back to the bank depending on if you listened to the note above), use a blood rune, ashes, bones, and charcoal on Eblis. You can also use one of the multiple items on Eblis and he automatically takes the rest (for example, he needs six steel bars - if you use one steel bar on him, he will take how many ever more he needs from your inventory automatically).

When you've given Eblis all he needs, he'll tell you to meet him east of the camp.

Head south-east out of the Bandit camp and east and you'll find Eblis and 6 Mystical Mirrors. Speak to Eblis and he'll tell you that looking into the mirrors will give you a vague idea of where to find the four diamonds were ever being held for a long time, or are being held now - Thus why the there's 6 mirrors and only 4 diamonds.

The Diamond of Blood

Items Required for The Diamond of Blood Section: Silver Bar, Garlic, Spice, Pestle and Mortar

Head to Canifis and enter the pub and it'll start a scene between Malak, Vampiric Royalty and Roavar. After the scene Malak will ask you to speak with him. If you ask him about the diamond he'll tell you about Dessous and about a plan to kill him.
Bank your armour and weapons and withdraw a silver bar, garlic and spice.

Head to Draynor and find the trapdoor southeast of the main city by the Jail, Go down it.

At the end of the path, turn west then north and speak to Ruantun and ask him to make you a sacrifiicial pot and he'll craft your silver bar into it.

Then head to Entrana(Keep your armour and weapons off), and speak to the High Priest and ask him to bless your silver pot.

Go back to Canifis and speak to Malak and tell him you have a blessed pot, he'll then use your own blood and deal 5 damage to you. Use the pestle and mortar on your garlic. Then use your garlic powder on the blessed pot. Then use your spice on the blessed pot.

WARNING: You'll need Armour (with Granite Shield if possible), Weapon, the highest level food you can get, Super Potions and a Prayer Potion. Also a Silver Sickle that's blessed and a Druid's Pouch (from Nature Spirit Quest) is recommended to stop your food from decaying. (Note: Ring of Life is vital)

Map to Dessous's Tomb

Head northeast out of Canifis then directly south until you're south-east from the bank and follow the path south-east until you find a graveyard with a Vampire Tomb in the middle.

WARNING: As soon as you use the Blessed pot with the tomb, combat will engage! Drink your stat-boosting potions before you use the pot on the tomb!

Use the Blessed pot with the Vampire tomb and then Dessous will come out of his grave and attack you! The best strategy to fight him is to Potion up before battle, use Protection From Melee Prayer (even if you decide to range) - his ranged attack is weaker than his melee. After you defeat him, you won't find the Diamond of Blood.

Head back to Canifis and speak to Malak and he'll give you the Blood Diamond.

Congratulations! You've obtained the Blood Diamond!

The Diamond of Smoke

Items Required for The Diamond of Smoke Section: Facemask, Tinderbox, and your choice of Fighting Style: Barehanded, Ice Gloves (with Melee Weapon), Water Magic Spells(without a Staff), or Ice Gloves (with Bow and Ice Arrows)

Head to the Circle of Mystic Mirrors where Eblis is and head east until you find a Smokey Well, put your facemask on before going down the well. Head down the smokey-well.

Start with walking to the Northeast Corner of the Fire Dungeon and you'll Find a Standing torch, Use your tinderbox on it.

Next, run to the Southeast Corner of the Fire Dungeon and you'll find another Standing torch, Use your tinderbox on that as well.

Then, head (run if you can) to Northwest Corner of the Fire Dungeon and you'll find another Standing torch, Use your tinderbox on that as well.

Finally, head (run if you can) to the Southwest Corner of the Fire Dungeon and you'll find the last Standing torch, Use your tinderbox on that as well.

If you fail to be quick enough, you'll get a message saying which torch has burnt out and you'll have to relight it.
You'll get a message once you have them all lit simultaneously saying "The path is lit, now claim the key..."

So head a bit northeast of the Southwest Corner into the big room with Fire Giants and a Burnt Chest in it. Open the Burnt Chest and take the key. Head to the far east corner until you come upon a wrought iron gate.

WARNING: Opening the gate will engage battle with Fareed, but as long as you have 43 Prayer and Full Prayer Points or a Prayer Potion and a couple of peices of food you'll be okay. He is rather easy as his main attack is melee, also, he'll randomly (and rarely) shoot Flames of Zamorak at you.

Use the warm key on the gate and put on Protect from Melee. Now either, range him with ice arrows and ice gloves, shoot him with waterspells, attack him barehanded without your ice gloves or attack him with a weapon with your ice gloves.

After you defeat him, the Smoke Diamond will automatically go into your inventory.

Congratulations! You've obtained the Smoke Diamond!

The Diamond of Ice

Items Required for The Diamond of Ice Section: Chocolate Cake, 12 Coins (or Climbing Boots), an Iron Bar, Fire Magic recommended

Go to Burthrope with an Iron Bar and 12 Coins (or Climbing Boots). Speak to Tenzing(West of the Main Town) and purchase Climbing Boots for 12 Coins if you don't have a pair already.
Then head over to Dunstan, the Burthrope Smither and ask him to make you a pair of Spiked Boots, You'll need the Climbing Boots and an Iron Bar.

Map to the Troll Child and Kamil

Teleport to Trollheim or go through the mountains to get to Trollheim. North of Trollheim, East of the Stronghold, You'll see a path that leads north into a snowy area.

Head up until you see an Ice Gate with a Troll Child outside of it. Give the Troll Child a chocolate cake by using it on him, then speak to him. He'll tell you of a bad man who freezed his mother and father and promises to give you the diamond if you save them.

He'll inform you that the ice trolls are so cold that if they get angry or sad they can freeze things on accident and that he froze the ice gate on accident when you try to go through the gate, but that you can squeeze through.

WARNING: Once you go through the Ice Gate your stats and hitpoints will all go down simultaneously because of the cold winds. Prayer Potions and Restore Potions are NECESSARY!

Go-through the Ice Gate and turn on Protect from Melee and kill 5 of the Ice Trolls inside to break the icicles on the next cave entrance.

Please note that you can kill the 5 trolls, leave, and come back, and not have to kill another 5. It might be a good idea to kill them, then return to a bank to grab more food, potions, or equipment.

Head to the southeast corner of the Trolls and Go-through the cave entrance.

WARNING: At the top of this path you'll have to fight Kamil, who has a special ice attack which freezes you completely. It's best to that you have a lot of High-Level Food, a few Prayer Potions and a Few Restore Potions to fight him. Using high level fire magic is also a good idea.

Head through the path and turn on Protect from Melee once you reach the Ice Wolves.

Head up the path and at the top you'll find Kamil. The best strategy is to Protect from Melee and Restore your Stats and Prayer when he freezes you. Also, when he freezes you it's the best time to eat as well. After you defeat him, he will drop a Super Restore(4) and 2 Chocolate Cakes.

Continue along the path, northward till you come to an ice hill thing with an ice path on it. Walk around until you come across an ice ledge. Put on your Spiked Boots and head onto it. Go up and around the long icy-path, you will continue to lose your stats and when you fall you'll take 2 Damage.

At the end you'll come upon an Ice Gate, go-through it and walk to the end of the path.

At the end of the path, you will find two ice blocks, with a mother troll and father troll frozen inside. You can either smash them by using the left click menu, or cast a fire spell on them (highly recommended). Both ice blocks have 10 hp.

Once you free the mother and father you will then transfer to a scene with the Troll Child with his parents and they'll give you the Ice Diamond.

Congratulations! You've obtained the Ice Diamond!

The Diamond of Shadow

Items Required for The Diamond of Shadow Section: Lockpick(s) (can be obtained at the site needed)

Go to the Tourist Guide near Baxtorian Falls. Near him there'll be a wandering merchant named Rasolo. Speak to Rasolo and ask about the Diamond of Azzandra. He'll speak of a great warrior who holds a Diamond but that you'll need a special ring to see him, and that he has that ring. The catch is, he'll only give you the ring in return for his Gilded Cross which was stolen off him by Laheeb of the Bandit Camp in the Desert.

Head to the Shantay Pass and get prepared for your travels through the desert. Go through the desert, south of the Bedabin Camp, to the Bandit Camp.

In a Southern Tent of the Bandit Camp you will find a Secure Chest. Use a lockpick on it. There is a series of three locks you will have to pick on it, if you fail during any of them your lockpick breaks and high-level poison starting with 6 damage will spew out of the chest.

The solution to this hard task is simple: Pickpocket the nearby Bandits which hold both antipoison potions and lockpicks. You may want to also bring some food. Once you finally suceed to open the chest you will recieve the Gilded Cross.

Note: You need a base level of 53 thieving to do this, you cannot use a Bandit's Brew (or any other Thieving-raising items) to raise your level to 53 to pick the chest.

After you obtain the Gilded Cross go back to Rasool near Baxtorian Falls and give it to him and he'll give you the Ring of Visibility. East of Rasool, you will see the picnic ground you seen in one of the Mystic Mirrors. Equip the Ring of Visibility and a Shadow of a Ladder will appear.

WARNING: Before you go down the ladder it is recommended you have 10-20 Prayer Potions, stat-boosting potions, combat gear, and a ring of life. Also, some high-level food incase your prayer runs out.

Head down the ladder and through the path dodging the giant skeletons and shadow hounds and near the end you'll see a big room on the minimap, near the northeastern end of the cave.

WARNING: Entering the next room will engage combat with Damis and the giant skeletons and shadow hounds.

Before you enter the big room: Drink your stat-boosting potions and turn on Protect from Melee and run in whilst wearing the Ring of Visibility.

The big room is multicombat. As soon as the Ring of Visibilty forces Damis to appear, switch to your ring of life and attack him. Your prayer will be slowly drained by him(Restore it if it gets too low) in his first form.

After you kill his first form he will come back a lot stronger and he will drain your prayer A LOT FASTER! You will need to contiously drink your prayer potions when your prayer gets to about 20 and keep attacking inbetween drinking. Hitting him twice or three times then taking a drink or two of your prayer potion is the best strategy.
After he dies, pick up the Shadow Diamond and run out of there or teleport out.

(Note: Keep the Ring of Visibility if you like, the Giant Skeletons will serve as a good combat training spot for you.)

Congratulations! You've obtained the Shadow Diamond!

The Conclusion

Items Required for The Conclusion: Blood Diamond, Smoke Diamond, Ice Diamond and Shadow Diamond

Head to the Shantay Pass and get prepared for your travels through the desert. Taking some food, antipoison and prayer potions is also recommended for this journey.

Go through the desert, southeast of the Bandit Camp, to reach Eblis and the Mystical Mirrors. Speak to Eblis and he will tell you to place the Four Diamonds into pillars around the Pyramid and then enter it and rescuse Azzanadra. He also cautions you of many traps and danger that awaits in the Pyramid.

Go south to the Pyramid, You'll find 4 obelisks at each of the corners surrounding the Pyramid.

Use the Blood Diamond with the Northwest obelisk.
Use the Smoke Diamond with the Northeast obelisk.
Use the Ice Diamond with the Southeast obelisk.
Use the Shadow Diamond with the Southwest obelisk.

After you have placed all the diamonds in the obelisks, you will be able to enter the Pyramid.

Head to the northern side of the Pyramid, climb up the stairs and go down the ladder.

You will then be in the pyramid, and will have to traverse through four levels, filled with traps and some monsters.

Pyramids Tips:
- If you trigger a trap you will be sent outside to the rear of the Pyramid and will have to try again. The higher your agility level, the less traps you will set. Also, try to keep moving to avoid traps.
- Scarabs may appear out of the ground and attack, poisoning you with a mid-level poison that starts with 3 damage.
- Be sure to keep your Protect from Melee on - the mummies located through out the pyramid can deal some high damage without the prayer activated. Be sure to drink your prayer potions as well.
