On this page you will find all the different types of Armour and Robes typically used by Mages in Runescape, along with information about each item.
Basic Robes

All of the above robes are generally seen as ‘basic robes’. Blue Wizards Robes and Hats are dropped by wizards; Dark Wizards Robes and Hats are dropped by Dark Wizards. Zamorak Robes are dropped by Iban Disciples and Necromancers; Gnome Hats are dropped by Gnomes and sold in the Tree Gnome Stronghold. Wizard Boots can be a reward for level 2 Clue Scrolls.
Mystic Robes

Mystic Robes are an elite kind of Mage Robe; they boost Magic Abilities greatly. They come in three different sets, each a different color: Blue and White, Red and Black, or Gold and White. However, each color has the same stats. The ’basic’ Blue and White robes can be purchased in the Magic Guild Store.
Note: Different colored Mystic Robes can be obtained by defeating certain Slayer Monsters. See Slayer Guide for more info.
Infinity Robes

Infinity Robes are another kind of elite Mage Robes. They are rewards for participating in the Mage Training Arena Mini-Game.
Enchanted Robes

Splitbark Armour

Splitbark Armour can be made by taking certain amounts of Bark, Fine Cloth, and coins to the Splitbark wearing wizard in Wizards Tower, after completing the Shades of Mort’ton Quest. To make a full set of Splitbark, 11 pieces of Fine Cloth and Bark, as well as 77,000gp is needed.
Ahrim's Robes
Ahrim's Robes are one of many types of Barrows Equipment, an elite kind of armor that can be obtained by participating in the Barrows Mini-Game. It is very powerful, but there are other things you should know if you are to use it. For info on all Barows equipment, see the Barrows Equipment Page.
